Assembler:
Surface and hand assembly - applicants must have good manual dexterity and be comfortable working with small parts and soldering. Previous experience preferred. Emphasis on system level build - cable and wire harneses,ability to lift and maneuver 100 pound modules required.  Standard benefits included, including medical and vacation. Two positions currently open.
 
Mechanical Engineer:
Delta RF Technology is hiring a mechanical engineer for system level design, prototyping of system level components, thermo-mechanical design, airflow design for high power RF amplifier systems. This includes sales engineering of existing SCA series amplifiers and new design efforts.
This is considered a moderately skilled position, with the following minimum requirements:
1) Four year degree in mechanical or industrial engineering + 2 years industry experience (coop ok), or the equivalent industry experience with demonstrated ability to design moderately complex mechanical structures and components.
2) Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with vector graphics software such as Illustrator
3) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4) Desired, not required, experience with (any) circuit board layout software, document control process and procedures, Bills of material entry
5) Strong organizational skills.
 
Applicants will be required to take a simple engineering test which will consist of creating a dimensioned solid in AutoCAD, spelling test, and rudimentary mechanical engineering concepts. Applicants with no industry experience - i.e. recent or soon to be college graduates may be considered with a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
 
 
Technical Writer:
Delta RF Technology is hiring a technical writer conversant in electronics applications. Candidates will be familiar with writing customer documentation including Operating and Maintenance Guides, and other documentation including:
1) Production Assembly Instructions,
2) Procedures,
3) Bills of Materials,
4) Documentation Control.
Qualified applicants will have experience operating the following software:
A) Pagemaker or other page layout software,
B) Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or other photo manipulation software,
C) Illustrator, or other vector graphics software,
D) AutoCAD or Solidworks,
E) Circuit Layout Software,
F) Any MRP or ERP software system,
G) Revision control software or database system,
H) Standard email and office suite applications, including Word, Excel.
Candidates are not required to have electronics design experience, but must have excellent english and communications skills. Some on the job training will be available when a candidate shows aptitude and pertinent prior experience. Technical Writer will be assisting in customer documentation for high power line of RF Amplifiers as well as high power RF amplifiers and accessories and will be working closely with engineering and production departments.
